As per the directives from Ministry of Development of North Eastern Region, Government of India and the Department of Science and Technology and Climate change, one Master weaver named Ms Sujata Bhujel from Sikkim was sent to Shillong, Meghalaya from 7th May to 22nd June 2018 to avail the training on weaving with Flying 8 loom. The training programme was organised by GIZ at Shillong under the supervision of Mr. Andreas Moller from Germany who invented this loom with more facilities. Ms. Sujata Bhujel successfully completed the seven(7) week weaving training on Flying 8 loom.
